God’s Closet, …….sharing resources with the community……managed and staffed by Volunteers of Epworth United Methodist Church. ………….GOD’S CLOSET is a located at 820 White Bear Ave, Saint Paul, MN / It is open 3 days a week from 10 to 2pm, Monday, Wed, And Friday: also open the FIRST Saturday of each month from Noon to 2pm

Items to God’s Closet are donated by anyone …clean items in good condition including clean linens, men women children’s clothing, [no summer clothing accepted at this time of the year ], household items, etc.
What type of donations are needed currently? Cash donations to help pay the rent and utilities, MANY ITEMS ARE WELCOME to be given to God’s Closet…including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, books for adults, fiction/nonfiction, [no textbooks needed[ ………….blankets, pillow cases, curtains, CD’s, music, VHS videos, DVD videos, ………..household items, unopened unexpired infant formula, ………disposable diapers, infant/toddler items, ………pots, pans, dishes, bowls, silverware, plates, ………cleaning supplies, ……….Winter boots, winter coats, hats, scarves, snowsuits, warm clothing, winter blankets are especially needed at this time of the year. ……Children’s clothing for infants, toddlers, grade school and high school children is always needed. Please have the clothing in clean condition. If you have more than about 3 large bags, boxes, please call before donating the items.
WHAT are the HOURS of Donating/dropping off items at God’s Closet? Same hours as when God’s Closet is open for its patrons. Mon, Wed, Fri 10 am to 2 pm.
IF YOU WILL VISIT GOD’s CLOSET to select items….A photo ID is required to go to God’s Closet for receiving items. The Patron gets to pick out their items; Maximum: 2 bags a month.
You do not have to be an immediate resident of the neighborhood to visit or donate to God’s Closet.
“God’s Closet” is an on site, open door ‘free items’ resource for people with limited incomes because the good people of epworth United Methodist Church began this community outreach program to be of assistance in providing clothing, household items, books, miscellaneous to the women, children, infants, toddlers and men of the East Side neighborhood of Saint Paul, MN / Minnesota.
